Thanks Mike. Apologies for editing the title of your post as there is another on Paul Jarvis.

However, I thought it would be a good opportunity to post here details on former Shrimps players and keep them all in one place.

Danny Meadowcroft was released by Northwich Victoria and is now at Droylsden.
Craig Robinson is at Ashton United after leaving Vauxhall Motors.
Tommy Pickersgill is at Inter Milan.

I'm still in touch with Keisuke Takano. He's working in Tokyo but doesn't kick a ball anymore.

I thought he was the first Japenese man on the Moon. Or was it to score in the FA Cup. One of the two; they're easily confused though.

Absolutely. And should come back to be feted and to see the lads play in the league.

What's Kenny doing now then?

Northwich Vics have signed Simon Grand as a replacement I presume for Meadowcroft.

He was working for Sony, but moved on to what he said was a far better job, but with a company whose name escapes me. He is a very intelligent bloke (which we knew at the time) and has written an impressive doofer (technical term!) on Terahertz Wave things. I will let him know of your kind words, but he doesn't seem overly bothered by football at all now. It wasn't until I'd mentioned to one of his colleagues that they knew of his FA cup fame!
I beleive he was planning on a UK visit last year but his work put paid to that.

Nice bloke, warmly remembered here. If he visits the UK it would be great to see him back. And it would give Sean something to write about in the programme!

So how did that work out then?

I always like Eastwood thought he was a half decent striker and that he would shine after Jackson left but it didn't really happen.

He is one that I would put in a long list of good strikers we have had that have struggled due to the 4-4-1-1 system we have played.

Eastwood looked mustard in the pre-season games and the first few league encounters, the benefit of years of full time training at Burnley and we were at the time part-time.

However, training two nights a week he lost his edge and never quite fulfilled his initial potential IMO.

What no mention of 'crispy sheets'? I'm disappointed.

Last heard of in Bromsgrove, having had a peripatetic few months (Brackley, Corby). But he picked up an injury that ended last season for him. I don't know where he is this season.
