So who is going to this one then? Just been looking at train times but it's 76 quid return each so it gets a bit expencive when there is more than one of you! Anyone driving or running a mini bus?

The website I looked at look me via Manchester, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

Just do them all as singles.

Driving down for the weekend to see an exiled Shrimp. Hope plenty of fans can make it down for this to create a decent atmosphere.

Those wanting to get down early or make a weekend of it I recommend going for a punt down on the river. Act like a posh scholar for an hour and bring a bottle of red for the journey!

Is the club not running a coach? No wonder we are lucky to take 100 to a lot of league grounds.

Well hope there is a coach going and getting to Oxford a bit early not been before so would be nice to get into Oxford centre to have a look around.

Nice place. Well worth a visit. Like a southern version of York!

yes, there are loads of Pub's/Bar's and Cafe's and Cafe Bar's and Theatre's.(with Bar's)!

Watch out for the local bike/s....Hundreds of 'em!

Yes Oxford is one of the better places to visit although the stadium is 2 miles out of the City. Park and ride is best ad there are cars just constantly driving round and round looking for a space.

Oxford railway station is over four miles from the ground and it is really not advisable to try to walk it.
You can get the Oxford Bus Company Service, Number 5, from Oxford Railway Station (use bus stop R2) via the city centre to Knights Road in Blackbird Leys, which is a short walk away from the ground. On Saturday afternoons the bus runs every five minutes. Journey time to the stadium is around 25 minutes. Alternatively a taxi will cost you in the region of £10, from the station to the stadium.

Could turn into quite a costly day out.
