I hope the players and management see this. It should certainly spur them on. Cheeky so and so!

I think Ronnie Moore is clutching at straws he's missing a few players tomorrow.

So we must be a decent side to beat Coventry, but we're not as good as Rotherham :?

Nothing like blowing your own Trumpet, cheeky bar steward. :x

Hope that comment comes back to haunt him tomorrow. :)

At both goal mouths the pitch went up ever so slightly, not enough to give an advantage, we were just good at home!

Oh it will ;)

I must say there manager is talking out of his back end all the way through that, he says that we won't be good because of our stadium, but then later on he says how it won't be an easy game, so he must really not rate his own team! If anything they have got worse! They have one stand out player, Le Fondre, when he leaves they will be stuffed! :D

The pitch was sloped at Christie. If you looked at the Umbro stand the advertising boards were virtually touching the ground on the left/Lanky road side, but there was a gap of about a foot on the main stand side.

The away changing rooms in particular at Christie were pretty minging.

As for him saying they can beat us, he's in the wrong job if he were to say publicly that they didn't have a chance and I dare say he'd be out of a job fairly quickly.

don't think he's said anything unusual. new stadiums can be a jinx sometimes, which is true sometimes. Christie was let's say "past its best", well even we've said that, and he says that he believes his team are better than ours after giving a glowing reference of how we played on Tuesday. Ronnie Moore would never disrespect another side, it's not his style. he knows he's in for a tough game and so do we. Another mouthwatering game for the fans to get stuck into. let's hope we have a good turnout for another Globe experience. can't wait.

Agree with the dressing room situation but how he can go on about a slope when his athletic stadium was in the state it was in last season and you could even see the b***** thing without binoculars! I wonder what he will make of our camber? 8-)

didn't want to start a new topic on this but a quote from the rotherham forum reads: "After last season's embarrassing scenes, could all fans please refrain from doing the following: * Booing when we go a goal down to one of the best teams in the league" Maybe we've seen the end to the "little teams like morecambe" topics after all! :D

In Ronnie Moore's opinion Rotherham are a better side than us.
Factually, we finished above them last season and didnt lose to them, so not too bothered about that.
He also voiced his complaints about the state of the pitch and the changing rooms, again, fair opinion, neither were great
Could they be his excuses for the defeat, as they are better than us?
Should we win tomorrow, what are his possible excuses?

Christie Park was neither modern or flat, but it was our home, we as a club owned it.
Millmoor is not the most modern grounds either, and I bet most true Rotherham fans would rather they played their home games at it than the Don Valley stadium?
Neither of which incidently, are owned by Rotherham United FC.
So if we were being churlish, we could say Mr Moore has no real grounds for comments such as these.

However, Rotherham deserve to be in a better position than they are, and I hope they get something sorted out with a more permanent home very soon.

Then if we lose there, we can moan about silly stuff too!!
