Ouch! just when you thought it was almost safe to get back in the water something else is lurking. This is the one time the Club could have done without a home draw in the cup!

Will we have to buy ticket in advance for games at the Globe or is this just because there is expected to be a big attendance for the Coventry game :?:

Not sure if they're going to continue selling tickets in advance of games, but I wouldn't have thought it would matter too much apart from a few big games a season (which obviously first game at the globe it one). I can't see 6400 tickets being sold for many home games, so should still be able to buy them at the turnstiles.

Yeah that's on the day John, not actually in advance as such. Quite a few grounds employ this system, although it is annoying when you are not aware, then go to your stand only to be told you have to go all the way back to the other side to buy a ticket ~ bit like snakes and ladders really! :lol:

It also stops the chancer at the turnstile pocketing a few coins.

Paying at a ticket office means you can pay by card or buy tickets online and collect them before the game. Not sure what they're having at the Globe, but seems a bit unnecessary if we've gone for that as you need to employ quite a few more people as you still have to man the turnstile.

Ouch.
I really hope we can play this match at The Globe as I fancy our chances, being right at the start of the season, at home, with a bumper gate and an unsure Coventry side.

News expected in next 48 hours regarding the tickets. I wouldn't expect the club to know if the stadium will be ready in this time. Therefore just a coincidence, we aren't having much luck at the moment.

Is this game all-ticket?

The club seem to be struggling big style with the changes to The Globe. Me and Mrs Lion have no clue what to do about this game. We don't know where our season tickets are and we certainly are confused about the size of the squad...it is too small to field a starting 11 plus substitutes.

Can't the club give us something to work with or should we just accept all the 'diversion' signs they are throwing up without question :?:

Even worse...........

..............the new replica shirts are 'slim line'...huh? why? Most fans aren't 'slim line' are they?

Off to sup a few Gee and Tees...can't cope

Yep got that...but it said something like...
'If you haven't contacted Jody? by 21/7 we will send out your tickets by registered pony express'

If we need Season Tickets to purchase Coventry tickets there is a problem.

I think we will be adopting the' buy before entry ticket voucher scheme' as favoured by more and more clubs.

When I wrote that I was thinking about the bankers who "borrow" stocks to sell, then re-buy, then return to rightful owners. How can that be legal?

£18.50 there coach price is, was thinking of just driving up to the Ricoh and jumping on the coach, but £55.50 for me and 2 mini me's is a bit dear, so looks like i'm driving all the way :lol:

Coventry should be full of confidence for the fixture.
They've got Pompey at home the previous Saturday.
Pompey appear to be in complete disarray, a record defeat is on the cards.
David Nugent is the star striker, and has been firing blanks in pre-season.
Worth a quid or two, on three relegations on the trot.
