Correct decision by the club and well done for not hiding behind some silly pole - it would simply have pissed too manys fans off who would have voted with their feet

They are infernal things, but that's no reason to ban them. anyone who can get a tune out of one has done well, the general noise is of someone having an asthma attack at the other end of a toilet bowl.
as long as we don't go down the line of banning everything else, as we've experienced at away games ( drums etc) how dangerous can a saxophone be?
anyway, overall not too bothered either way, but at least people know what the policy is.

Why do we need things to be banned? they are crappy and wouldn't catch on but surely that should be a fan's choice, I'm not a child anymore so am able to decide things for myself.
Its just the start of a slippery slope, mark my words, they'll ban everything and won't be happy till we all sit there in silence. What next? banning raised voices or singing?
Morecambe fc is not my mum, you can't tell me what to do, I'm now determined to smuggle them in in bulk, hand them out and encourage the noise..... wonder how much it'd cost to get a couple of thousand air dropped at the globe on matchday?
up the vuvuzela!

I hope no small co ordinated groups of pranksters try sneaking them in, blow them once and pass them on, making our stewards run around like headless chickens trying to find them, imagine, that would not be funny would it
