Think they need to get some of their facts right we didn't play Barrow 'instead' we were playing them anyway. Could be wrong but wasnt the Barrow game arranged before the Lancaster game?
Also there would not have been that many there maybe 500 tops.

The Dollies tend to rely on clubs with "bigger" away support boosting their coffers for the pure and simple reason that Lancaster folk are just NOT interested in the Giant Axe club !!

They have never attracted the Lancaster public (not since the Combination days) and they never will do. The reason? I really have no idea.

In the past couple of seasons, they've had good crowds on the strength of away support travelling from the likes of FC United Of Manchester and AFC Halifax Town. This season they will have AFC Chester or whatever they are called to draw in some extra £££££.

I think they have a point, we do not know about connerton, and whatever your feelings are about lancaster city, we do seem to have treat them poorly, thought it was a bit daft organising the two games in two days anyway :?:

I think we'd have been miffed if it had happened the other way round.

and unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened.

At least City were told on the Friday. I think the last time it happened 4/5 years ago they were told the day before.
