Anybody come across a problem regarding a warning that 'a data file has not closed properly' in Outlook?

Tried everything I know ( granted not a lot  ) but problem still persists and warning appears evey time I check my e-mails. It might be coincidental, but my PC seems to have slowed since this problem first came to light.

Ta!

It means you turned off your computer unexpectedly and Outlook didn't have time to tag the file as being closed. Turn on your PC, start Outlook and go to a football match. By the time the match has been called off it should have sorted itself out. Your PC will appear to be running slowly because Outlook is scanning the file to check for any errors. You should notice the hard disk light on near constantly while it's checking.

Not that I do it myself frequently at work
