There's this thing called Google
http://www.google.co.uk. Just enter in Morecambe Athletics Club or Morecambe running club and hey presto - all the answers you'll need. It's like getting the Charlton Athletic club shop for Christmas.

if you want to test yourself and it's for a good worthy cause try
http://www.paras10.com/it's a 10 mile run with a 30kg backpack on and army boots(no trainers) on the same course you get tested on with selection joining the paras
you have 3hrs to do it in, the entry time for the paras is 1hr.30mins am hoping to do it in september if my back will handle it

Well before I moved up to Morecambe I did do running for my local running club.
But now the weight is starting to go up . I am interested in running and giving other people a opportunity IE people having cancer better help that they clearly need.
I am thinking about doing this 10mile run with 30kg's on back.
When I was slimmer I could run 5miles in 27minutes

Ten miles in 90 minutes with that clobber on is an achievement.
That's why
Paras and
Bootnecks are a breed apart.
Don't attempt it with a dodgy back.
Fail, and you might never ever reach the physical requirements.

if your going seriously going to train for it, just put a sand bag in a ruck sack but pack the bottom of the sack with some pillows so the weight is on your upper-back & shoulders
otherwise you will just bust your lower back in

No not really I did charity runs when I was 17-18 years old for cancer research and also for children with disability problems due 2 I have a 16 year old brother with this.
And now I want to do my passion again for running and raising money for people that need this.
But 5 miles in 28minutes was quick and I was a good runner and now i want to run again and make these young children happy and people with cancer also
I can take a joke no here about my grammar or whatever you choose but please don't over something that I fell so passionate about

Funny coming second that is a good one.
When I started running with the other sports I was doing it was different in my family eyes as they are not sporting type.
But i agree coming second is like coming last in my eyes but I always won i used too run with passion and that is what made me win.
Then I quit due to I started eating junk food and then 5 years later I can barely run
