Raoul Moat?

Raoul Moat?

Postby George Dawes » Sat Jul 10, 2010 2:13 am

i know this is a sore subject he's no Angel!!

but i actually felt sorry for him( Raoul Moat)

and felt the police chatted shit!! about him!!(going to target schools **** right off!)

his girlfriend was/is a slag

she wound him up

he then retaliated

then six people got charged with conspiracy with murder for helping him what detects(in my book) they were helping him because he was just a mate!

i always like to keep a open mind!! but he could have killed a hell of a lot more than that coward in Whitehaven!

all am saying he's not evil!! just mixed up!!

Shot himself a few minutes ago.

He probably heard Gazza was on his way and that tipped him over the edge!

Agree to an extent with a toned down version of this.

We can never really know what's going on in another person's mind. I'm not making light of what Moat or Derrick Bird have done but you'd think that something has gone seriously wrong in their heads to make them behave that way. Not just the simplified down to the usual Mail reader obvious answer that they're just simply evil scum.

you shouldnt categorize all readers of a paper as having a certain view.

I read the Daily Mail every day and I didnt think "that they're just simply evil scum"

Its like someone saying that all Guardian readers wear sandals and have beards or that Daily Mirror readers are all thickos who pull as many benefits as they can. oops might be right about the Daily Mirror readers !

Unless you're reading the Mail and disagreeing with everything it stands for then its fair to say you're scum. That's my view on the Mail and its readers.

I dont agree with everything in the Mail or disagree with everything in it.

They run some fantastic campaigns and are a very successful newspaper.

So enlighten us on what you consider a fair and balanced read !

Regardless of what he had done or was threatening to do, just sit back and consider the cost that has been expended on finding this chap;

2 Tornado GR4 Jets for 4 sorties (thermal imagining & ground disturbance photography)
12 Police Forces have contributed to the Armed contingent including CO19
PSNI sent over 20 of it's new Armoured Landcruisers
Force Helicopter used for 5 full days exclusively on the case
Ambulance service on 24 hours stand by with Paramedics, Incident Unit & Ambulances
Possible use of SAS - [if you believe what some of the media was saying]
Plus countless hours ov overtime for normal police, PCSO's and headquarters staff
Accommodation for the visiting police forces officers

All will no doubt add up to millions of pounds all spent on finding one man who was in the end sat in a tunnel right under their noses!

Gascoigne is mentally ill. He needs sectioning.

I think you'll find that a dressing gown, some chicken, and a fishing rod are standard riverside negotiating equipment.

Yep, absolutely right.
Out of all the many other crimes of passion/murders/attempted murders/suicides that happened a week ago in our little green land, how come this particular one was cherry-picked for non-stop surveillance by the national media?
