Pics taken tonight.

Should answer a few questions about the seats and also about future viability of the 'North' Terrace

Nice ones Mark. :D

Sorry but I still feel that the North Side looks a bit non-league...if only for the limited time that it will be like that. :(

The colouring of Main Stand seating is growing on me.

Are the media ranks going to be on the terrace just in front of the bar areas on the first floor? The playing area looks to be very lush. Wonder if Chesh has got involved in the initial cuts?

North terrace is very tinpot, the rest of the stadium is something to be proud of, especially the main stand. I hope we can develop the North side in the future, but I can deal with it for now ;) Can't wait for the open days

Yes. They will be on seats that are portable in and out to keep the terrace as a terrace for functions.

That was the reason for going tonight. To organise position for PA. Have chosen in the RH (as you look at it) corner so I am semi enclosed and out of the way of half time traffic. If that isnt possible due to wiring restrictions second choice is right in the middle of the press pack away from the aisles.

The pictures do not do it justice, I promise you.

When there are fans stood on it, it will look great. There is plenty of scope and room for further development in the future. You can see that they have clearly thought about it and they will be able to add on and up easily.

On the last pic I am disturbed that the blue hose line has been allowed to creep over the kerb.
I hope the board can sort this and make sure these sort of things don't happen again.
I mean how can we continue to move onwards and upwards if we let hoses creep over kerbs.!!

and am not having a pop at all

looking at them photos the community block wouldn't have actually looked that bad if they''d just built it in the middle of the stand with the TV gantry on top(two birds one stone) of the building but just a couple of meters further back

but i suppose it could easily be dismantled and moved brick by brick or block by block allowing the stand to be developed with no view restrictions, a cheaper alternative in the future

The Globe Wall reminds me of a game i used to play when i was a kid, it was called wallie, you stood against the wall and someone kicked the ball at you attempting to hit you, i have a feeling there will be quite a lot of ducking and diving going on during the match, could be interesting.

But that may not fit in with whatever future plans the club may have still in the pipeline (as and when etc...) for that whole side.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Is it true that we're getting some big slides, like the ones in Fun City, to side out of the stands
at the end of games? :P

Just looking at the photos it seems the pylon in the opposite diagonal corner ie between the main stand and the home stand is in an identical position to the one by the quadrant building.

Just an trick of the photograph if it is, it's the same as the other two, located beyond the width of the stand, it's just the stand by the community black thats different due to the positioning of the building.
