I would think Heskey will now be retired from International Football

...along with Terry, Upson, James, Cole, Gerrard, Lampard....in fact the list is endless.

We've got 4 years in which to develop a youth policy that will be able to compete with the simple but oh so effective style of the Germans. I didn't particularly like the Germans but they have earned my respect over the last 2 games.

The Germans have scored 4 goals in 3 of their 5 world cup games.

They know that shots from distance fly wide or high.
That 24ft x 8ft just ain't big enough.
So they run rings round opposing defenders and use precision in the box.
Simple, if you're good enough.
Most teams need 25ft x 9ft though

then there's to many foreigner's in our English Premier league and EU players who are not classed as foreign ie. Viva Le Arsenal keeping English lads out of top level jobs in football


but if you was to say that over here about foreigner's and EU workers in taking none football jobs in England well i can only imagine, but lets not get off topic..

4 years time, using the European Championships to get the experience, they'll be ready.

not good enough, they will just play exactly the same English way(technically inferior) like any other English player as been brought up before

thats if you want to emulate Germany btw

rene haguita is the only one to have played against junior umbongo when congo played colombia in the inaugural final of the Coke Cup afew years back

the premier league are bringing in the policy that you have to register 25 players at the start of the season with 8 'Home grown' players in the squad, the criteria for 'Home Grown' is that they have to have been at the club for atleast 3 years between the ages of 16-21, but most players at the top academys i.e Arsenal, Liverpool etc. are foreign and will qualify as Home grown players
