Globe new pics

After our great hols in Poland (beer FAR better than what we have to put up with back home, sorry), we are back and there are now new photos on the New Ground web site taken yesterday.
The thick grass is like a cosy winter coat - patchiness virtually all gone - and is getting its first cuts. Crush barriers are almost all fitted in the end stands (presumably needing painting), there is lots of first layers of tarmac on the roads and car parks, lamp posts going up on the roads, and the floodlights posts are up - they need the lighting heads fitting and then wiring. All sorts of stuff inside the Main Stand - bogs as far as you can see (!) - Amazing range of equipment being put in - fridges, water boilers, bar fittings, strange tanks in the depths of the Stand - the outside sports court areas getting tarmacced, with lights going up there - and turnstiles being built for all stands.
The air system has more tubes than London Underground !
We understand the Main Stand seating may start going in during this week.
