okay, something odd happening. I can't reply to the World Cup thread without getting an SQL error.

Not sure what you mean? I've never seen this error before, are you saying it happens regularly?

Only at peak times. I'll do a screen print next time it occurs and email it over.

More to the point, when I tried to post the message in to this thread, I also got the same error message. If you drop me an e-mail keith[dot]fitton[at]manx[dot]net and I'll reply with a copy of what I was trying to post and you can give it a go. My guess is there is a coincidental string of characters or words that the forum is interpreting as a command?

Reading this and your email, I think you're right about a sequence of characters in the URL being mis-interpreted by the forum software. Use something like tiny.url to re-code the link you're posting.
