Pre-season training update No 2

Double sessions today I understand.

Running and exercises at the College in the morning followed by a period of rest over lunch and then its the personal tests to monitor their condition at the start of pre-season then again at the end.

Drummy was joined by Blinks in doing supervised training under the guidance of
Dave Edge.

We seemed to have lost one of the triallists but that's the nature of the beast. It's understandable that players should have a look around to see what's what before signing on.

Players on trial to date include 2 from Wrexham (one of whom is a former Chester and Oxford player) and another from Blackpool.

I suuggested to our new goalkeeper that it looked as though it had been hard going this morning.

He gave a friendly Irish grunt in agreement!

Fraser is out in front by a mile when it comes to running.

No guesses as to who is playing 'shot gun' at the back.

And is the other one Michael Carvill? There were rumours about him on the old board.

Would somebody please remove this idiot from what to date has been an excellent board.

It will offend those 'freedom of speech' types, but there is a limit to the amount of utter tripe one can put up with.

...undergoing their personal fitness checks which is all part and parcel of a more scientific approach adopted by mark over the last couple of seasons.

Checked now and then just before the season starts to show their individual performance ratings and improvements.

Well now, just thinking about it, if you can't see my posts.............

Hey, everyone, did you know Phoenix, according to Neil G, has got really hairy toes, and bad breath.

Not to mention, oh ....... said I wouldn't mention :!:

His name has nothing to do with things rising from ashes, what a load of balony, its from Brian Potter the charcter Peter Kay based on him!

Phoenix Nights!!

I look forward to a barrage of hints and suggestive descriptions embedded in questions whilst not actually revealing any actual names.

You never know...I might just shock you BUT it all depends on permission being given by Sammy and Mark.....assuming of course that I actually decide to report this pre-season. ;) ;) ;)

I doubt you'll shock me, even your PM didn't actually include a name just enough hints to google the person.
