We've just had to change our electricity tariff with British Gas.
Part of the deal was to provide us with a free electricity monitor.
It's a great little gadget, and so easy to use.
We never leave anything on standby anyway, but if we did then we'd soon have stopped with the real-time info the monitor provides.
Get one, and educate the missus!
