The "Morecambe Missile" is on it again at TT 2010. Last night he broke through the 130mph mark again, becoming the first and only rider to do so, so far this year. The Morecambe Tourist Board should sponsor John McGuinness considering the amount of times "Morecambe" gets mentioned in connection with John. He was interviewed on the radio yesterday and was talking about the great view across The Bay.

Anyway, a few shots of the man...

The only view most riders get of John!

Not McGuinness, but one of my favourite photos so far this TT.

No, they aren't supposed to do that!

Was it good? I missed it because there was a practice session on. Will try and see if it is on watch again or repeated.

Bad news for John today. He was well in front when his bike popped and he had to retire. Pity Conner Cummins though. He was leading by 17 seconds at the end of lap four when the bike stalled after the pit stop, then broke down ten miles later. He would have become the fourth Manx man to win a solo TT race.

Captain Sparkle and Mr Led arrived on the Isle today... as did the rain! Forecast for tomorrow isn't good.

I had a play at creating one of those photo-montage to music 'films' that Mark S does so well with at football. Not too bad for a first attempt I don't think...

and it's raining!

No racing today, was Captain on a quick trip or here for tomorrow/rest of the week? Be a real PiTA to come here and not see a race  Correct decision though, it's grim out there.

My brother in law and his mate are determined to come and camp in your garden 1 year.

after this years poor showing, they may not have a top Aussie to cheer on! Cameron Donald had a very poor week and Bruce Anstey (Kiwi) struggled on the Suzuki too. Mind you, with five wins from five solo races, everyone other than Ian Hutchinson struggled! Nice lad, quiet, polite, friendly... and a bloody demon on a motorbike!

Video number two, in homage to Hutchy.

If that whets their appetite, tell them the garden is still available, although if you can house train them by next year, we may find a bed for them somewhere!

I remember one year, had a right do with that aussie bloke , Donald,
had to show him who was boss on the track,
gave him a head start though, didn't want to show him up too much,

LOL! I remember that photo from a while back, probably 'in another place'? A place incidentally that makes moderating here look like a complete piece of cake, the stuff that is being posted at the moment (allegations, counter-allegations, withdrawal demands, threats of legal action, apologies, statements from riders... statement from a top rider (the guy who won five races) hastily edited to make it more 'media friendly' such as removing the term 'bull*****r' from original statement).

So how many laps did you and Mr Led manage before CD came past you... again?

TRUE! I saw him in my mirror, then he disappeared, turns out he went and changed tyres, then came back out and still caught and passed me!
he won't be able to do that now i've got me 'og!!
