Seems to have gone. The roof is still being taken off the main stand carefully but Jaws is waiting for the minute it's gone.

A client builder of mine who is still in 'dream land' as a supporter of Blackpool knew of my support of Morecambe and commented today on the demise of CP and in particular the problems that the contractors will be facing with the removal of the asbestos from the main stand. It's no wonder therefore that it is taking some time to demolish.

According to his calculations IF we'd stayed at CP and had to re-roof the main stand (which I understand was almost guaranteed by County instructions) then the cost of replacment could have been well into 6 figures, taking into account getting rid of it and then replacement.
