Owen Coyle will take his troops to the Shrimps' new £12m home

Au contraire Mr Coyle, the collective noun for Shrimp is 'troop' so if anyone is going to be take a troop to the Globe, it's us!

Hi all, Bolton fan here.

I posted on here a couple of years ago when me and a mate came to Christie Park to watch your 1-0 win against Shrewsbury. I really enjoyed the game and I've kept a look out for your results since, hence why I'm pleased we've got you in a friendly!

I'll be there on the 28th July, especially as it's the first game at your new ground. Hope you all welcome us, most of us are a friendly bunch and let's hope for a decent crowd, I'm sure it will be!

Sam

Haha, are you a Burnley fan?

I don't think you can blame Coyle for leaving, he was massively popular as a player at Bolton, from the day he left up until now his name has been chanted on the terraces. I think if he was just a player that played for Bolton once rather than someone who was really liked by the fans, he wouldn't have bothered coming.

I don't subscribe to all this "judas" stuff for ex-players/managers. Childish and petty, some of our supporters shouted it to Justin Jacksin when we played at Rushden and ut was a pretty poor show.
I'm really looking forward to the Bolton game, they should bring a decent team looking at when they return from Canada and the surrounding fixtures.
Hope to see you there BWFC.

I do, especailly when you spend most of the season praising the club, fans, team spirit etc etc.

I am a Morecambe fan first and foremost but family connections mean I might be unable to resist a bit of a boo

We met before the game in The york if I'm not mistaken Sam :D

One thing you can be pretty much assured off is a warm welcome when visiting Morecambe.

I'm not sure if it's something in the blood, after all the years of welcoming holidaymakers from across the country.

Really looking forward to this game.

A lot of my in-laws and a few mates of mine are Bolton fans.

A few have been to the pie in the past and a mini bus of them came to see us at Wembley

I'm at Kendal Calling on the date of the Preston match, unoffical or not I'm glad that I'll get the chance to go to the new ground before the start of the season. Hopefully Bolton will bring a decent team.
