Thanks for that.

After the distressing sights we've witnessed this week, it's good to see the progress of our new home.

Take a look at the positioning of the floodlight foundations in Pics 12 and 15. They suggest that the home stand is not as wide as the away stand.

Excellent as always Mike and Assistant

Pic 12 is the Main Stand
Pic 15 is the away stand

Both away and home stands are the same width Neil.

You are correct, but still different positions in relation to the corners if you look again. Seems odd.

It does look odd from the photograph granted but did it cross your mind for a nano second that the engineers might actually know what they are doing Neil ?

I think the community building has meant that the floodlight pylon in that corner is in a different position to the other 3.

Of course they know what they are doing. Never suggested otherwise.

It just looks odd that's all, especially when the floodlight tower is in front of the away stand on the left had side as you look at it head on.

any reason for changing the name in the title of the pics from 'community building' to 'north east quadrant building' :?:

I am reliably informed that the extra space around that floodlight is for your seat C.C.!

Great pics, many thanks.

Just had a quick drive-by of Morecambe's football grounds. Only a little bit sad to see Christie Park go (despite going there for over 50 years) - it's well past its sell-by-date. New ground looking magnificent, a credit to all those involved in its development.

Wonder what else CC got for Christmas - apart from binoculars, magnifying glass and microscope!

Mind you, looking at the picture again, I'm coming round to his way of thinking.
