From both sets of fans last night. Haven't been so proud since we last lost to Dagenham in a play-off semi at Christie!

I bet other football fans still can't understand how gracious we were in defeat. Some Shrimps fans feel its a weakness but for me its our greatest strength and makes us truely unique.

Atmosphere towards the end was also as good as it gets. Friends told me you could hear the noise from Lancaster!

I had a text from my cousin last night, went something like this:

On holiday on Isle of Skye, sat in a pub watching Morecambe, it's 0-0 at moment, you didn't do very well in first leg, and you're not doing that well now.
I texted back: 4th place finish, highest in our history, we will win tonight as fate will decide that the good people will win in the end,and we have THE GREATEST fans in world football bar none.Once a Shrimp, always a Shrimp!!! enjoy your holiday....
