One mistake doesn't alter the fact that he's saved us from numerous trouncings this season.

Those who have suggested he played poorly have very short memories AND poor eye sight!

Would love him to sign but..... :?: :?: :?:

err... or they watched and commented upon today's game? You aren't for a moment suggested that Barry had a good game are you? He's had one bad game this season, unfortunately, it was today. Yes, we'd love to see him sign, today doesn't change that.

So how did that work out then?

But it also doesnt change that a lot of our players are average/ some below for this league. If we want to move on and can afford it then change needs to happen.

We have lost one game - yes it wasn't pretty but don't come out with sh*te like this - I bet you weren't saying this this morning? or would be had we drawn or even lost 2-1 - it's been a fantastic season and the team have been oustanding - too many so called fans on here coming on and slagging the team off - thank fully those who were there today stood firm behind the lads to the end - some of those on here should try the same - win, lose or draw - support your club

Given that the club doesn't have a bottomless pit of cash to be able to spend on transfers / players wages etc, it's a damn good result for the season as a whole to have finished 4th.

Yes we haven't got the best defence in the league, but we do have a good ability to score goals, which is paramount - score more than we conceed. Granted today was a particularly poor performance, no one can disagree with it, but one bad performance shouldn't overshadow the excellent result for the season in finishing 4th.

We have a home leg to come which will be an uphill battle to proceed further, but we should all be glad that the team finished 4th, is moving to a new stadium for next season and as Jim Bentley himself said, at the start of the season we were battling against relegation - from that to Play-offs is a tremendous achievement.

Shame about today but a big congratulations to the team, management and directors (plus everyone else behind the scenes) for what has been achieved this season.
