Has anyone else noticed (I'm sure you have)

But the last time we had an historic season:

A side from the North East won the Championship to go into the premier league

Blackpool made it to a wembley play-off final, while in the same league play-offs Nottingham Forest failed at the semi-final stage

An english premier league side lost 2-1 in a European Final

and a man by the name of Phil Jevons finished the season as his teams top scorer which saw them win promotion.

Don't forget that Chelsea were also in the FA Cup Final.

And the Sun came up every morning,
Bradford were a massive club,
My wife found something for me to do on my days off.

god yes. i loved the headline in one of the tabloids on the monday saying that wembley finally had a final to be proud of (refering to our game).

our last league match in 2007 we won 1 0 v Grays Athletic a suvvern side like aldershot
paul lloyd with the goal
a former academy player getting the goal like garry hunter has done this season

Hate to put a dampner on things, but all this also happened the last time Dag&Red got promoted.
