I think that figure could go even higher due to the fact that Newcastle and West Brom have gone back up. Their second season parachute payments are therefore not given to them but shared out amongst the other league clubs. About 24 million pounds. Most will no doubt go to the Championship clubs but a fair amount should filter down to Div 1 and 2.

Just goes to show how massive a thing it was to get into the league with the Conference clubs receiving a comparative pittance.
