I think Eddie Howe will get it he's won promotion with the same team that were rock bottom and heading for the conference and I don't think they have fielded a full subs bench once this season.

Howe should be manager of the year across all leagues with Sammy a close second of course ;)

Bournemouth finished above rochdale, had a lower budget and were much less likely to do it. With Keith Hills squad, it would have been a bad achievement if they werent promoted

Do you think it was all decided while Rochdale were still higher than Bournemouth? Bournemouth's achievement has been fantastic. Let's hope we can join them and do battle for fifth from bottom next season!

Thats what I thought Keith, but they shouldn't do that as I would say Eddie Howe, Sammy and John Still have all deserved it more. Daggers, Shrimps and Bournemouth have massively overachieved, Dale havent really overachieved imo

Whilst I don't think Keith Hill was the best league two manager over one season, over the last three or four accumulatively he probably has been the best manager in league two. It probably shouldn't be judged like that for this particular award, but it probably has been.

Keith Hill has done a fantastic job at Rochdale, the fact that people on here suggest that he has only achieved what he was expected to at the start of Rochdale's campaign just goes to show just how good that job has been, given that man hadn't even walked on the moon at the time of Rochdale's last promotion. They have been up there throughout his tenure, and despite comings and goings he has continued to produce the goods and kept them playing IMo the best football in the league.

Nobody knows what Rochdale's budget is (or even Bournemouth, just that they haven't paid the tax man), so coming from that angle is pure speculation. What I would say though is that even though Rochdale have gone up, to me it doesn't appear to be on a strong foundation personnel wise....too many loanee's for my liking....could be another Hereford.
