They have been doing the wind up all week sound antagonistic and arrogant. suggest they just head off back down the M6 at least they can be sure of a welcome at Christie and we can show them how to party and support a bunch of players worthy of being where they are - COME ON THE SHRIMPS

Aldershot:

ooh look a barracks, another barracks, a charity shop, another barracks, a military vehicle blocking the view of a barracks, another military building that could be a barracks, a McDonalds with drive-in for tanks and oh bugger we're in Farnborough. At least the San Cheerio is four-sided.

as a kid i use to stay down in Aldershot in my summer holidays with my uncle who was a sgt major in the paras, and i can honestly say i have no fond memory's of the place apart from hanging out with my uncle who i always looked up to

but then i couldn't wait to get back to Morecambe to spend the rest of my summer holidays in Morecambe in the late 70s early 80s and then Moreecambe was still a holiday resort with Holiday makers and shit loads to do before your average family could start to afford to go abroad on family package holidays, hence the demise of ALL Britsih seaside resorts

Some resorts have fought back though, Weymouth for example is thriving resort, and take a look at this:

It's not long since it burned down.

Shame that pier is in Weston Super Mare. Would have looked alot better in Weymouth.

Take it that was the 1870's

doing a good job on that pier looks good!

i thought it was a shame when we lost our pier maybe be if it had have been now we could have got lottery funding to have repaired it or help from somewhere

a British seaside resort isn't a resort without a pier :(

Morecambe's a wonderful place to live and I consider myself lucky when I have the pleasure of a stroll down that superb prom from Heysham, It never ceases to amaze me on how short sighted some people are and have no appreciation of the finer things in life that cost absolutely nothing
