Official announcement as fun day is postponed
Posted: Wed May 05, 2010 5:51 pmWith the very real prospect of the season being extended down at Christie Park and the need to utilise the ground for play off ticket sales, operational decisions have had to be taken with regard to the advertised fun day, 5-a-side tournament and memorabilia sale due to take place on Sunday May 9th.
It is therefore with regret that the above mentioned events are to be postponed with a full review due to be held regarding an alternative date options once the result of Saturday's game is known.
A further announcement will then be made via www.morecambefc.com and the local press, early next week.
We sincerely apologise for any disruption or inconvenience the above announcement may cause. Anyone who has paid for entry to the 5-a-side tournament will of course be due a full refund and we will be contacting all of the teams entered and speaking to them personally, over the next couple of days.
