No reason why not. Had the new site been launched it would have been first to report the new signings. As it was, I believe the old site was first anyway. Getting better all the time.

The old official website was first with all the news about the new signings and, had the volunteers who manage the new one not been doing their day jobs, they'd have been first with the 'first day of training' interviews, photos etc as well.
I don't see it as competition. We all want the best for the club and it's not as if there's 150 sites all dedicated to Morecambe FC. Most proper fans will look at all the three or four local sites that cover our club.
We'll all try to offer something a bit different to keep it fun and interesting but there really is room for us all.

At the same time every click generates revenue for all the sites posting information about the club. Fortunately, like shrimper says, there's plenty of room for all each giving a different view/opinion. Like I can't imagine the club site posting rumours of transfers yet I've no doubt the Citizen and Visitor will.

I'm just glad we don't have to wait until Wednesday any more for any news, remember the days pre-internet ;)

The more factual reports about things MFC the better.

They all have their own unique way of reporting events, take my Pre-season training reports as a prime example. What started out a few years ago as purely a 'one off' now, from feed back, is much appreciated by the exiles who have to rely on SVs for their info.

The more the merrier.......

Players profiles not upto date, no news on Llyods new contract. When does the new official football league website go live?

Scott Davies signing (as well as Paul Lloyd's) put on the site at 4.20pm.
I didn't realise Miss Dynamite was setting my deadlines....
