O/T Fleetwood lose appeal

O/T Fleetwood lose appeal

...and rightly so in my mind.

They appealed to the FA after the authorities cancelled all the points gained from games involving Fairsley Celtic who were thrown out of the BSNorth.

As a result Fleetwood lost their 6 points which meant that they couldn't overtake Southport and almost certainly become Champions with promotion to the BSPremier.

The rules clearly stated that points would be lost but Fleetwood still lodged an appeal.

I feel sorry for their fans, but knowing their 'money bags' Chairman and his main men from previous business dealings, I'm not sorry that this is the outcome.

If their appeal was 'loose' perhaps that's why it wasn't successful ;)

Or should that be Fleetwood 'lose' appeal............
