I prefer to think that they are reflective of our defensive performances both home and away. Remember Rochdale?

Sammy wil know where the problems are and will I'm sure be moving heaven and earth during the close season to correct an issue that he's all too familiar with.

With his connections surely the problem can be sorted?

ill be very surprised if SM sign more than one defender in the summer a lot of the defensive problems are purely tactical and can/should be corrected

ie' Rochdale and early season was a mix of new players playing in a unfamiliar wingback system before going to a familiar back four and lately to me a lot of it is the midfield four not tracking there midfield opponent back when we lose the ball and leaving the back four unprotected

Then why is he trying his damndest to re-sign all our current midfield? Three of our first choice back four have it within them to be three of the best in their respective positions in terms of League 2. We definitely have one of the best goalkeepers. If Sammy really does know where the problem lies then we are going to have one hell of midfield-heavy bench next season!
