Parking at Bradford City next Tuesday 13th April

Just wondering about car parking at Bradford City. Last time I went (the only time) the missus dropped me off at the stadium so I didn't have to worry about car parking. This time I will need to park near the ground.

The Bradford City website says that there is no public car park at the ground and very limited street parking.

Does anyone who has been before have tips on where to park? (happy to pay* if need be!).

Thanks guys :D

* I mean pay for the car park, not for the advice

Get there about an hour before KO and you should be able to park on the road below but next to the stadium. It's the same street on which away supporters gain access to the stadium.

Been twice and never had a problem.

Would have liked to have gone this season but no transport...

I went a couple of years ago, arrived at about 20 minutes before the game and parked not very far off the stadium in a residential area.

No student rate so will have to fork out the obscene £20 - will be worth every penny if we beat that lot though.

There is a student rate, just not for away fans. To me that is a bit unfair.

Bradford is a rip off, hand out cheap as chip season tickets so that even if you only intend on going 6-7 times a season it pays for itself, and then rip off the away fans who'll only be visiting Valley Parade once a season. Away supports are effectively subsidising home fans season tickets.

You're right. Its £15 but you have to pay £5 to join the "student scheme". I guess they get around it by making it available to visiting supporters too but as seen as that equals £20 anyway, nobody is actually going to do it.
