Rather like us, they started poorly then went on a fantastic run. However, Bury fans have been bemoaning their side for a couple of months or more now, as they have had major problems remembering where the net is in open play. That has inevitably created extra pressure and that is now showing.

Yes you are ace squared, but you should be with the players and manager you have!!

However who's going to pay for it all at the end of the day?? It's an enormous amount of debt someones racked up to finance a season of potential glory, (wasn't it 6 mill at the last count and rising rapidly)?

Your new Chairman may be a wealthy bloke but I would guess administration beckons at some stage and a rapid clear out of the Schmeichels, Hughes etc'.

Okay, I'll try and clear a few things up.

1) The reason we went so far over the wage cap is because of the £5 million bank guarantee that we supposedly had in place. The football league allowed us to go over because they had their solicitors check the guarantee over and they said it was watertight. It most certainly wasn't though and the league are going to sue the solicitors who approved it. So yes, in theory we cheated, but not intentionally and also with the full support of the league. Ray Trew has invested sufficient amounts to take us back inside the wage cap, but the FL did not lift the embargo.

2) Ray Trew has guaranteed that we will not go into administration as he knows the impact this could have on local businesses who are our debtors. We will pay every last penny back, which I am proud of. It is an admirable approach from a man who has won our respect in a very short space of time. He is a highly successful businessman and we are incredibly lucky to have him at the helm.

3) RT has stated categorically that Lee Hughes will not leave the club - he is going to sign for another two seasons. I have personal contact with Lee myself and he told me that he wants to stay at the club until he hangs up his boots. As for Kasper, he is obviously an unaffordable luxury and RT has bandied around a 2 million figure. It is his hope that he will move to a prem club and be loaned out to us for a season. We truly hope this happens, as does Kapser as he loves the club.

It's been a real emotional rollercoaster this season, in fact, it's been downright surreal at times!

Well good luck to you. If Ray Trew is true (pardon the pun) to his word then you really have found a 'one in a million' chairman! If he delivers what he promises then you have escaped the Munto farce by the skin of your teeth!!

Thanks for the words of support. We're getting a maximum amount of stick this season, but we're a decent bunch in the main.

And yeah, bizarrely enough if/when Ray proves himself as true to his word we will actually be thanking Munto.

Aint life strange
