A fair assessment of the game especially his acknowledgement that we should have been 2-0 up prior to their first goal.

Their loanee goalkeeper looked shakey all afternoon and would hate to think that IF Baz goes then we brought in somebody who prefers to punch the ball rather than catch it.

North Standers will probably be unaware that their was a significant number of Championship scouts at todays game. Looking at Baz no doubt, but Duffy would have caught their eye.

Duffy had a decent game today. Not his best but Hackney is supposedly lightning quick and since Simon has been with the club, Duffy has been a much more effective winger.

Good grief mate...do you need my glasses!!? He was dreadful. Didn't track back in the first half to help Parrish, certainly went down far to many blind alleys when in possesion and didn't really "bust a gut" second half when he lost posession.

Duffy is far to over-rated, and the evidence was in the affirmative following his withdrawal. Parrish got a better reception when he left the field!

Quite simply put...we can get better players than him.

Duffy was on the line with a chance to cross the ball, but he turned round lost the ball, fell over looking for a penalty, 30 seconds later they scored again.

Does Duffy take players on? Yes.
Does Duffy cross when he gets the oppertunity? Yes.
Are his deliveries good? Often.
Does he get picked by Sammy week in week out? Yes, obviously someone more intelligent and more in the know picks him to play for a team that he manages at. Would he put him in his team if he was this useless oaf? I think not. Obviously he must have much more Pros than Cons...

Duffy is a young winger who takes men on and runs with the ball. Not always successfully you have to say but he obviously has skill and really makes a difference when on form.

Ok, he is inconsistent but if he were then he would not be playing in this league. If you're asking for a player like Duffy but with raw pace, better decision making and consistency then you're asking for a championship player IMO.

I think Duffy had a not so good game today because Crewe were trying to neutralise him. He has really good pace as well.

Looks as though Specsavers could be busy next week.

I'm not Duffy's biggest fan, but i thought he did well, considering he had 3 men on him in the first half. Gradi obviously had done his homework on Mark on his previous scouting visit to CP.

The Crewe fans are calling for his head. Shame that such a respected name in the game has to endure such venom from the very same fans who rejoiced when he returned. Such is football!

Duffy is a good player he has good good pace and can take players on sure the end product may not always be 100% but your not going to get that in league 2!

I must say that duffy is the type of player that when he's on the ball you never know when that bit of magic may arise, he's only a young lad still learning his trade and is sometimes guilty of chosing the wrong options - as most of us are in life.

The player I'm finding most frustrating is Phil Jevons, he gets into some absolutely lovely positions and can hold the ball up well as he did many times today.
I don't know what his goals to chances ratio is/are, but surely recently his goal scoring form has dipped.
He scored today but should have had a hattrick.
