....which is another reminder of how thankful we should be for having a new stadium at all, even with it being a slightly reduced specification from the original plan. Hopefully this saving will help pay dividends in the future!

Walsall's average is around 4200 but what you need to remember is that the entire league clubs average attendance's are boosted by the major players such as Southampton and Norwich who take around 1500-2000 to every away game. I went to watch Walsall v Norwich recently on a miserable Tuesday wet night but still 1600 Norwich fans made that long journey up. But yes i agree reality check needed but we will never have a massive gate, hence the need for other avenues of extra income.
