Jim Bentley took charge of another reserve team game at Christie Park against Oldham Reserves tonight. Although Morecambe lost 2 - 0 to a strong Oldham team they put up a spirited never-say-die performance, just like Jim, and obviously responded to their manager's coaching and encouragement. Keep up the good work Jim, I'm sure the Directors will be taking note.

Saw the game, and Oldham were nothing if not enormous. Our 7 looked lively, and showed a lot of endeavour. potentially good player if he works on his interplay and positioning. Our 2, Jacko, looks the real deal and has a very good throw on him, we may have our very own rory delap. The reast of the boys put in a lot of hard work and the game wasn't too bad fayre to be honest. best moment has to be Les trying to pronounce some of the Oldham players' names before the match though.
