FRASER McLachlan and Ian Craney are in line to start for the Shrimps' Reserves as they face Preston North End in the Lancashire Senior Cup at Christie Park on Monday night.
The two were expected not to feature until the end of the season after the respective injuries but both have worked hard to get back into action as soon as possible and physio Simon Farnworth says both could be ready to take part in the game that kicks off at Christie Park at 7pm.
He said: "Both players have worked tremendously hard to get back to fitness and both wanted to play even earlier. It is great to see them back but we will continue to take things steady.
"It will be great for the fans to see them back in action though.''
The Reserves have two games this week with Accrington the visitors to Christie Park on Wednesday evening.
