It wasn't that bad a tackle, I watched it in super slowmo, and it didn't seem over the top, just unlucky, you could tell by the reaction of the stoke player that is was a freak accident and not meant

Is it just me, or has Sol Campbell turned in to a right twat ? Every game I have seen with him he has been moaning and crying at the referee like a spoiled teenager.

By the way, that tackle was just an accident. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

He looked a right twat in the Champions League when he 'accidentally' passed back to the keeper then stood with his hands on his hips completely switched off to the fact that a quick free kick was being taken

You're forgetting the most obvious reason; he's a right twat cos he broke Manny Panther's foot       !!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think it was an accident completely. Really sad to see Ramsey injured like that cos I thought he was a really good player and had great prospects.

Good luck to Ramsey for a full recovery.

I was listening to Andy Gray who was saying that no professional footballer ever goes out to deliberately injure another one, but I thought how about:-

Roy Keane on Alf-Inge Haarland, Old Trafford 2001.

Didn't 60,000 Scummies then give the assailant a standing ovation?

Looking at picture 1/9 on the link to the slideshow, it looks like the damage has been done to Ramsey's leg before Shawcross even makes contact.
