Expelled from the Conference apparently. I for one hope that signals the end of a certain mans involvement with any football club ever again!

This will hopefully give Chester Fans United a chance to build a new club from scratch.

Sad day for football in general with Portsmouth being the first Premier Club to enter administration and Chester being given the heave ho.......

although on the plus side, Vaughan is now out of football and Chester Council still own the Deva ground - hopefully they'll work with Chester fans to build up a new club... and good luck to them.

isn't that what saved Barrow that SV couldn't sell the ground although he thought he could.

Chester didn't even bother to attend the meeting today.

Very sad news.
I feel for the fans who have kept the club running through a whole load of shit over the years.

I think it will take Chester a long long time to turn things around.

Its not that long since there were headlines in The Chester Chronicle "Chester bid £50,000 for Michael Twiss". The journalist was a big mate of Vaughan.

It gives their fans a chance to re-build and they have a decent fanbase to do that.

I watched an interview with Vaughn the other night were he was slagging a group of Chester fans, i thought to myself what an ignorant arrogant piece of work he is.

very sad for the Chester City fans. Hope they get to reform a new club in a new league next season. just makes you wonder with chester, portsmouth, notts county and many others what the point of having a "fit and proper persons" test is when the only qualifying thing you have to do is to tell the league you're a fit and proper person, less of a test and more of an affirmation. the league and fa need to have a long hard think about this.

Watching the movements at Chester, Southend, Palace, Notts County, Portsmouth (next Leeds?), Accy etc etc just emphasises what a massive achievement staying in the league is for a club of our size.

That's the kind of small change Illias Khan will have down the back of the settee! I don't think Acci are in any danger any time soon.
