With the mess darlington are in and grimsby struggling to win a game i think 16 points would see us in league two next season - what do other people think ????

surly your not thinking of religation, where still only 3 points off 4th place

Not at all dawzi just thinking safety first - like you say 3 points off fourth and only two wins off 3rd but the quicker we get 50 points the better

im sure its in the fore front of sammys mind get them by the end of feb see where we go from there january looks a good month to pick up points with 3 home games in there john...

I would normally agree sean but the squad is looking bit thread bare at moment but certainly few winnable games in january

Personally I don't think we need as many as 16, though I'm confident we will reach that targeet easily. Another 9 or 10 should be enough to ensure that at least 2 teams won't catch us.

The next few games will be tough with injuries and suspensions, but we're still in a position to be looking up - no need to be watching over our shoulder. If not by the end of January, then by mid February, we should know that we're safe and can concentrate on trying to regain that play off spot we were in.

Forget 16.... I'd rather see us go for another 30 at least!!!

I just hope the players dont go into run down period early again when we hit safety.
