nice to see panther back on bench - still a strong side even without jevons and mullin first goal crucial in this one

1-0 down after 12 minutes :( Poor defending by the sound of it.

A second goal, which was a beauty apparently. Sounds like we're taking a pasting. They hit the bar as I type this.

"that could have been game set and match Lance"
"if it's not already..."

could be a long day unless we can get a goal soon.

yet another injury, Twiss off for Taylor who almost (should have?) scored with his first touch. Sounds like Harry Gunter is having a good game.

next week, Macclesfield v Morecambe reserves  :o

With Twiss gone off injured, Hunter & Wilson both suspended after being booked today and a full treatment room already :|

Haining was off having treatment when the substitution took place, so I think they were confused.

Great ball from Parish for Curtis to score. Almost certainly too late but at least it is something.

A real test of our character now, to see how we respond to this mauling. Macclesfield currently beating Crewe 4-1, so next week is going to be tough.

An entirely expected result. Everyone wondered how we'd respond to our first defeat for ages and they now have the answer. With both first choice strikers out and a defence that has gone from sublime to ridiculous, a game against the flying leaders was always going to be tough. One can only hope that Jevons is back very soon.
Some are dead and some are living. In my life, I've loved them all.

Goes to show what a bad result saturday's was seeing as Stanley got battered at home today, i think we knew that we would be up against it today but were still only a point of the play off places. Tricky game at Macc coming up.
