O/T Weather update Tuesday am PLEASE

Postby Christies Child » Tue Dec 22, 2009 8:55 am

I need to get down to Morecambe on urgent family business today.

What are the roads like in and around Morecambe please?

Storth has roughly 8" at the moment, so will be difficult just to get out of the village.

Thanks

Cheers fellas for the feed back.

Took the risk and drove down and other than a few minor blips near Milnthorpe no problem. Encountered a bit of fog on the way back and forecast suggests more in South Lakeland later pm..

Went past the ground and it was as expected covered in snow. Not sure if there are covers beneath. Maybe a call for help to clear on BoxingDay?

Surprised that the contractors are working on the new Stadium as the industry normally shuts down a week before and a week after the 25th.

:) :) :)

Depends if there's still snow on the pitch by then.
