Tough game in what will still be tricky conditions. I'd take a point now - and from our next two games, then kick on again in the new year still undefeated.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Just looking at the BBC 5 day weather forecast. If that is correct there shouldn't be a problem with the game being on! We can allways rely on the Beeb to get things right, can't we??

I also thought 2-2. Tricky game.

A long overdue hiding for Stanley. 4.0 to the Shrimps with a our ex-accy boys both getting on the score sheet. Crowd of 2,700 with 300ish coming from east Lancashire. :D

If the pitch is hard and icey, A tight scrapy game in which we may struggle, a bit like Grimsby with a 2-1 shrimps win.

The last time we play Stanley at CP? certainly the last boxing day fixture. Let's go out with a bang!

Mullers was a major reason behind Stanley's good form against us (3 wins and a draw in football league outings I think). Now he is a Shrimps, I'd like to think he'll be causing them from yonder no end of bother.

3-0, Jevons, Mullin and Craney. 3,500 on the gate, 400 form East Lancs.

2-1 Drummy with a 35-yarder into the top corner, Symes with a clever goal to equalise and then Duffy in injury time to send the 2,800 Shrimps in a 3,211 crowd home in ecstasy.

2-1 to the shrimps. Accy go one nil up with a goal that looks for all the world like it was offside in the build up, then Jevons gets the equaliser. Mullin gets the winner after a whipped in free kick causes havoc in the Accy defence. And the crowd of 2740 go wild, except the lot from east lancs of course.

For some reason in recent years we haven't performed well against them, the home game last year being the exception, that was one that we should have won.

We are certainly due a win against them and if we play like we have been doing lately then the points should be ours, 2-0 with a crowd of 3,365.....that's if the weathers half decent.

I'll have to go with a resounding 3-0 victory to the men from Accrington please. Stanley will be sorry to see the back of Christie Park once its gone.

Accy will make the mistake of focussing too hard on Mullin - fools!

We underestimate Accy Stan at our peril. We may be top of the form league but they are having a pretty impressive run themselves, being 5th in the form league (last 8 games) with 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. I'm not going to make a prediction other than I'm fully expecting a hard faught game that could go either way.
