It's official. Sammy reads Shrimps Voices.

Just listened to Sammys interview on Radio Lancs Sport and Sammy made a direct reference to the 'supporters internet forum'. He commented that several posters were getting carried away with talk of promotion and that there was a very long way to go. (Quite right of course). However unless someone else tells him what's on here, (very doubtful), it does tend to indicate he does have a sneaky look at what the supporters think. I just wonder if he's ever posted? And if so whats his user name.

Anyway for anyone whos ever waxed lyrical about opposition players, Baker, Wilson, Panther, Craney, etc' and how we should rush out and sign them. Or a change of team formations 4-4-2, 5-3-2 etc' then take a bow because Sammy could be hanging on your every word, just waiting to give it a go!

Yes of course he could  I was just posing a hypothetical question about whether Sammy (if he does indeed read the forum) might have ever been tempted to reply to some of the occasional garbage from some posters on here with his own six pennies worth. After all when you're subject to such scrutiny in a public domain in must be tempting to attempt to redress the balance under cover of a pseudonym. The bit about asking darrenlock if he was Sammy was obviously said in jest!!

I do of course doubt very much whether Sammy would get involved with any debate on here, no matter how unjust it may perceived to be.

I think managers of all teams probably have a sneaky look at their supporters forums.
As do most players.
There is an ex Morecambe player who posts on this site and I bet only about 3 or 4 people know who he really is.
He asked me not to say owt when he was here visiting his mate McFlynn.

Anyway, just started work already been to Bondi for a quick dip this morning, sea a brisk 18Cand 8.30am Saturday.
Got up at 5.30am if I listen to Player I'll get to bed about 4.00am tomorrow.
Not sure if I can do 23 hours at my age. 8-)

What forum were you reading, must have been Lincoln's!
I remember quite a few posters wanting him to go but still less than half the posters on here.

Only a few people were calling for Sammy to go but plenty were saying "he has x amount of time to turn things around". If we had lost against Lincoln, I think a large proportion of this board would have been wanting him to go.

I don't agree James,
I think the majority of the board were perplexed at the
run of draws we got. I think only a minority were having a real go.
He hasn't done much differently since start of the season. a few minor adjustments.
Now if Sammy would have tinkered with the team the way fergie does at Man U. then we'd have something to moan about.

I'm in shock. You just laughed, Marky :!: ..

Sammy publically said not too long ago that he does'nt read this nonsense

Although Lills kids do, so don't worry the management do get feedback :o

If Sammy and Mark don't read SV then somebody gives them feedback. A few years ago at an end of season bash Sammy made a comment directed at soapboxer Bryan, and some of his assessments during the season.

What a great game yesterday.....I've still got my Cheshire cat face on. A decent crowd on yesterday, but surely a result like this backed up by previous results will get the Wembley brigade through the turnstyles. Stanley at home should be interesting, with both sides in good form.
