Notts will still be there or there about come the end of the season. Lee Hughes in this league is deadly. Hamshaw is also a class act, not to mention their two keepers and the rest of the squad. Apparently Sven wants in on a management takeover, which in term of attracting players can only be a good thing and is definitely a good sign in term of the potential that he sees in the club. During the bad times at Notts everything had been stripped from the club, including youth development programmes and other long-term investments. Since the takeover they have steadily been building a structure. Apparently the current owners want around £3 million for the club, which considering that they bought the club for next to nothing on the premise that they'd invest a lot more than they have done, could turn a healthy profit.

You Pies!

That squad will have to be ripped apart unless they get serious backing soon! I hope for Notts County's sake some of those big wage players are not on long term contracts!

Predictable or what?

Why have the authorities who vet these things, apparently given the original backers a clean bill of health?

Feel sorry for the County fans as I'd hate for our club to be in such a position.

:( :( :(

I was wondering what would happen with contracts like Sven's, Campbell was on a similar one maybe he saw this coming and that's why he walked. I am not sure if any of the other players like Schmeical are on such contracts or not.
