How many minutes of play (or hours and minutes) is it since we conceeded a goal :?:

Moose tried his best today to emulate Futchers' o.g. for us v Bury last week, but Barry was 'avin none of it and made a brilliant diving save 8-)

Including injury time I'd say just short of 400 minutes, passing last season's record of 360. As well as extending our sequence of 6 league wins in a row, we also recorded our fourth clean sheet on the bounce which is another MFC FL record.

Very close. I'll give you that.

Last goal was v Carlisle in the cup by Joe Anyinsah after 5 mins, then 0 for 85 + 5:29

Then 0 v Cheltenham 90 + 5:16

0 v Darlington 90 + 4:05

0 v Bury 90 + 4:00

and 0 v Port Vale 90 + 3:09

= 466 mins 59secs or 7 hours 46 mins and 59 secs. :geek:

That's some defending !!!!! :D

21 mins of added time in 5 games, averages abot 4 mins a game so in a 46 game league season we could play 184 mins thats over 2 games :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Just shy of 400 minutes in league games which I suppose isn't the question you asked, but is probably the stat we should be highlighting in conjunction with our 6-game winning run in the league.

As you say, almost 8 games without letting a goal in is quite an achievement.

Yep, you're right, it wasn't the question I asked. I think a stat of longevity should be highlighted but I think you mean almost 8 hours :P

Agreed.

Your 466 mins 59secs stat is doing the side a bit of injustice.......it does not include first half injury time. :geek:

I think we might have got more T.V coverage if Artell had scored , i think its about the most difficult save Roachey has had to make recently. :o

Aye 'up

Odd this one about injury time being added on in the calculation. Officially goals in injury time are all in the 90th minute, on the other hand these are not imagined minutes that are played. So to include or not...Hmmmm.

So officially it is now 463minutes, 7hrs and 43 minutes since conceding a league goal (Crewe), or to use Vinnys stat, 535mins 8hr and 55mins since last goal scored against us (Carlislie). and for those wanting moons on sticks...with now 25 minutes of injury time, that makes it 488 mins (8h 8m) and 560 mins (9h 20m) repectively....however you look at it, it is an impressive record and takes us to top form side in top 4 leagues. :D

So going by my calculation, with another 66.52 mins + 1.04 v Grimsby before they scored (if I've understood the confusing BBC live commentary right  ) that was 627 minutes and 56 seconds, or 10 hours, 45 minutes and 56 secs of play without conceding a goal. I think that's incredible!!!!

Unfortunately all good things come to an end. It's now been 27 minutes and 5 seconds :ugeek: but still unbeaten in 8.

It is most certainly that!!! Nigh on 11hrs. League paper headline today..."Roche beaten at last" (Reporter clearly from home side!!). How long can we keep an unbeaten run going??
