Anybody else had very, very, very slow internet speeds today, especially in the South Lakes areas?

We've had terrible problems trying to access certain sites. 15 minutes to download in one case.

Anyhow seems back to normal now!

Yes, has been really sluggish here in sunny Heysham today but not too bad now.

I thought it may be the weather or flooded cables etc.

4 all concerned about yur broadband the problem is all down to the bridge at workington.When the bridge collapsed the main fibre optic cables went and all the traffic has to be rerouted,some times on a daily basis...service will resume as soon as possible...

My phone line was down all weekend and this was that was the reason i was given as well.
