MEA melt a transformer again...

For the second time in two months, the Manx Electricity Authority have forgotten to put 50p in the meter at our superduper new power station and we're plunged in to gloom. It appears that we are running at 110v instead of 240v.

Just as doom was joining the gloom, I noticed that two local wireless networks were still up & running. Rather oddly, my neighbour has re-named his network but not security enabled it.

Clearly joining it would be a clear breach of the Computer Misuse Act and I wouldn't dream of using it, so I've gone down to err, McDonalds err, where they have free public internet access. In the event of my no longer being able to keep up to date with the football today, either the voltage has finally dropped enough to have taken my neighbour's wi-fi out or I've gone to get a McFlurry... :? 8-)

Chat later hopefully!

So how did that work out then?
