presumably as no comments on here pitch should be ok tomorrow

The pitch has a very good drainaige system, so anything up to now I'd expect to have drained away.

If there is a lot of heavy rain between now and then, there could be problems, but the weather forecast is a lot more favourable than it was looking earlier in the week.

looking at the forecast it seems quite dry up until tomorrow afternoon but at 3pm tomorrow it looks like we are in for a lot of rain.

Despite the amount of water already absorbed by the pitch plus that forecasted between now and KO, tomorrows game to keep our recent good form in the league on track must go ahead if at all possible.

I'm sure the groundstaff will be doing their usual all to get the pitch playable.

Fortunately as we all know, CP has an excellent drainage system. Let's hope that we are saying the same about Westgate despite its well documented flooding problems.

No doubt SVs will keep us all up to date with regards to tomorrows game.

With our visitors no doubt travelling this afternoon, it's possible an early pitch inspection with tomorrows forecast in mind may be on the cards.

Given there is almost no rain forecast between now and 12pm tomorrow, that would be a completely pointless exercise.

there was a rumour going around at one time that clarrie had buried some priceless treasures under the turf but these have yet to materialise...

I just wonder what they can be?

Oh and the pitch drains well due to a series of caverns built in th e1930s which run underneath the pitch under the school and out towards the bay

Remember the treasure seekers book of the early 90's called 'Masquerade'......so that's where the treasure is burried.

No doubt it'll be unearthed when the turf is lifted.

Think I'll get my order in now for those turf roles......!!!!!!!
