Crewe's Zola

Crewe's Zola

Postby Christies Child » Sat Nov 14, 2009 10:03 pm

Before todays game I was fearful of what Zola and his 6'7" frame may do to our defence, remembering that a season or so back he ran riot for Stockport (?) in a pre-season friendly.

On the evidence of seeing their highlights on TV of late, he certainly looked to be the player to cause us problems.

However the combination of Bentley and Artell then Haining and Artell seem to have nullified his presence and therefore potential threat.

Well done to our defence for shutting him out to such an extent that he was taken off.

:D :D :D
