Weather for Carlisle game

Postby Christies Minder » Thu Nov 05, 2009 8:11 am

Just wondered how the Brunton Park pitch was holding up under this weeks downpours for Saturday's big game ?
As we all know, Cumbria tends to get more rain than sunny Morecambe and we have had one hell of a lot of rain this week.
Hopefully they're looking after their biggest asset for the big game !!!!

Hello, dbdb from the Carlisle footymad board, live in Lancaster so will probably start popping by a bit more often instead of reading.

Pitch will be fine if a little heavier than normal, the new drainage (post flood) works a treat gang. 8-)

That's good news , we should be able to play our entertaining brand of flowing football on any pitch - heavy or not !

UPDATE....Rain umbrellas in Milnthorpe....Sun umbrellas in Carlisle....but this is Cumbria after all. So anything can happen!
