Seems they thought we played extremely well, getting the basics right and playing the ball on the floor.

One fan on their forum stated 'they took the p*ss all day long' with our on the deck passing.
Now they had lazy strikers which gave us time to play it on the deck, but even against teams that play a very pressing type of game i'd still like to see us keep it on the deck.
All I can say is whether you thought they were the worst team we've played or not, the fact we played so well contributed to them playing so poorly.

Also on their forum, praise for our stewards and lots of praise for Wainwright.

We played ok, solid enough throughout. A much more professional approach from the team in how they went about winning the game, and maintaining the lead which they had established. In previous games we've over-played and let the opposition back into the match. At two up we played at the right tempo, passing the ball around neatly and let the Lincoln players chase. We were clinical infront of goal, which makes a massive difference and something which has been lacking.

Lincolon were awful, we've played much better this season and not taken three points. A much needed win that will give the whole club a lift to take into the cup match at Carlisle. The next home league game is at home to Cheltenham, who are not looking that clever at the moment with Mad Dog Allen on gardening leave and appear to be struggling on the pitch. Onwards and upwards.

I was fairly confident about taking all 3 points back to Sincil Bank but by all accounts we were outplayed by a better team.

Still think we won't go down, or obviously up but survival will be a successful 1st year in charge for Sutton.
